Welcome to Liberty Tutorials!

Liberty Tutorials, founded in 2010, offers online math tutorials to homeschooled students.  Using the WebEx conferencing system, students can enter an online interactive classroom at the specified class times along with their classmates.  The online classroom allows students to receive instruction and participate in class discussions much like in a traditional classroom environment.

Online tutorials are a way for homeschooled students to receive instruction from a person knowledgeable in his field.  They can allow families to homeschool successfully and prepare students for college even in subjects that the parents are unable to teach themselves.  Students receive feedback in class and through tests on their progress in a subject as well as an official grade from an outside source that helps give credibility to their high school transcripts. Online tutorials provide homeschoolers the added benefits of being exposed to lectures, taking notes, and presenting their work to classmates without having to leave home.

Liberty Tutorials provides mathematical instruction on the honors level in the following subjects:  Pre-algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II, Advanced Mathematics, and Calculus.  Every subject may not be offered every year, but students who complete a math class successfully will be able to take subsequent classes in the above sequence all the way through Calculus with Liberty Tutorials.  Students may enroll in any math class provided the parents verify the prerequisites have been met; however, current students of Liberty Tutorials will be given first opportunity for enrollment in the subsequent year’s classes.
